Kombai
Kombai Indian Breed
Due to their aggressive attitude, Kombai can be dangerous dogs, yet they can also be trained to be friendly. Although Kombai is kind and loyal to their family and master, they can be aggressive toward strangers and maintain their territory as a guard dog. Kombai is not a dog for beginners. Kombai is a village in Tamil Nadu, India.
This breed originated in the southern area of India. This breed's brown and red coats, together with its black mask, have led to the assumption that it is descended from foxes. The existence of this breed can be dated all the way back to the 15th century. They were employed to hunt wild boar, bison, and deer in ancient times. Additionally, some individuals claim that these canines were utilised by the Marudhu brothers' army. In the early nineteenth century, the Marudhu brothers, also known as Marudhu Pandias, led a revolt against the British conquest of the Sivagangai Kingdom's Kalaiar Koil.
